James D. Neal, MD, FACOG

James Neal, MD, FACOG - Murrieta, CA

"I’m the fourth generation in my family to go into medicine. Perhaps it’s in the genes or in the blood. My grandfather was also an obstetrician/gynecologist, one of the original founding members of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. As I went through medical school and was exposed to the variety of medical disciplines, I realized ob/gyn was going to be my field mainly because I would be working mostly with entire families. Whether helping a couple start their family or adding a new member, I never get tired of the joy that comes with delivering a baby. I also appreciate my specialty because, no matter what the problem is, I can most often help make it better. Most gynecology problems are curable, and those that are not can be made substantially better. I like helping people get back on their feet and get back to a normal way of living.

"Whether it is caring for a woman during pregnancy and delivery or helping with a variety of gynecologic problems, I most enjoy working with patients and their families to safely and effectively achieve their goals of a new baby, healthier living or resolving their problem to their satisfaction. My goal is to treat every single patient as if they were my own family member. I ask myself, when considering treatment, how I would want my mother, wife, daughter or grandmother treated in this circumstance.

"I hope to give my patients the opportunity to have a better quality of life, a healthy addition to their family, and the confidence that comes from a safe delivery or correcting a gyn problem. Many women live with their problems for months or years. When I can help eliminate that problem, and the patient realizes that her life is going to be normal again, you can see the confidence start to grow. It’s really satisfying to help patients get to that point."

A passion for helping patients conceive

Florence Villa Quinata, MD, FACOOG“I started out as a medical assistant at an Infertility practice in Orange County when I realized I liked helping our patients conceive! That’s when I decided to go to medical school with the intent of becoming an ob/gyn from the start. We have a unique opportunity to connect with our patients through some of the most joyous and stressful times of their lives. We also have the ability to make meaningful improvements to their day-to-day lives by taking care of patients the way that makes the most sense for them. The relationships we build with patients make the hard work and long hours well worth it.

Always working for the patients’ best interests

“I hope to give my patients confidence that I will do what is in their best interests. I bring with me a unique practice history, having trained on the east and west coasts and in the south, plus practicing overseas while stationed in Japan, but also participating in humanitarian missions to Vietnam and Cambodia. These experiences have allowed me to care for women with very different backgrounds and beliefs, and make me appreciate that any given condition can mean different things to different people. I try to help my patients make the best decisions for them. “On a personal note, I love spending time with my kids, finding new memorable experiences. I also like to sit outside with a nice glass of wine and a good book. I’m excited to get involved in our church community and our kids’ sports teams.”

Angela Sojobi,  CNM

Angela Sojobi, CNM - Murrieta, CA

“I have been a nurse-midwife for 22 years, providing full-scope midwifery – care during all phases of life. For the first four years as a midwife, I practiced in Nigeria, where I enjoyed group prenatal care focused on involving women in all aspects of their care and supporting each other. I love being a midwife the most when I can empower women to care for themselves – physically, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually. I value most being a true support to all women.

“I was born in Nigeria and was the fourth of seven children in my family. Both my parents were teachers. They raised me to be compassionate, selfless, caring and to always seek knowledge and find ways to improve myself. These qualities would lead me into nursing/midwifery, where I could care for women and be by their side through the journey of childbirth and beyond. I also have three children of my own and will forever cherish the midwives who were by my side through those times and their influence on my practice.

"I love to read, hike, dance, laugh, sew and, most especially, sing in the shower. I also love technology. My sense of curiosity and quest for knowledge feed my love for computers and technology.

"I would want my patients to know that I love all types of animals. I currently have four dogs, two cats, turtles and once I had a monkey!”
